DÜZCE UNIVERSITY WOMEN SYMPOZIUM

The international event titled “Women in the Turkic World: Economic Transformation and Development”, organized in collaboration with Düzce University, Düzce Governorship, Düzce Municipality, Düzce Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Institute of Economic Development and Social Research (IKSAD), was successfully held on April 13–14, 2026.

The program, attended by politicians, businesswomen, and bureaucrats from across the Turkic world, provided a highly productive and distinguished platform to discuss the role of women in economic life, their contributions to sustainable development, and the strengthening of regional cooperation.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all participants and supporting institutions, especially Rector of Düzce University, Prof. Dr. Nedim Sözbir, and Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Sibel Bayram, for their valuable contributions.

We hope that this meaningful event will contribute to further strengthening the role and impact of women in the economic and social spheres across the Turkic world.
