IKSAD Delegation Discussed a Project to Support Earthquake Victims in Adıyaman

IKSAD Institute Secretary General Dr. K. Adilbekova, New York Office representative L. Robinson and London representative Dr. D. Wortley met with Deputy Governor Mehmet Ali Uzun and Adıyaman Governorate project office officials in Adıyaman, one of the most affected regions of the earthquake, and held a preliminary meeting on the development of health and social support programs for earthquake victims.

During the meeting, projects aiming to improve the health and living conditions of earthquake-affected individuals were discussed. Deputy Governor Mehmet Ali Uzun and IKSAD delegation emphasized the importance of programs that will increase social solidarity after the disaster and evaluated possible collaborations on expanding health services, providing psychosocial support and improving shelter conditions.
