4th INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON POLITICAL SCIENCE AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS HELD IN PORTUGAL

The 4th International Congress on Political Science and International Relations, organized in cooperation with the Institute of Economic Development and Social Research (IKSAD) and Fernando Pessoa University, was successfully held in Portugal on April 20–21, 2026, within the framework of the theme “Geopolitics and the New World Order.”

Within the scope of the congress, which was attended by distinguished scholars from the international academic community, global political transformations, geopolitical arenas of competition, and current issues in the discipline of international relations were addressed from a multidimensional and analytical perspective. Scientific discussions were enriched through interdisciplinary approaches and made significant contributions to the development of academic collaborations on a global scale.

This congress holds strategic importance within the scope of the Science Diplomacy Project carried out by IKSAD Institute, particularly in terms of strengthening international academic interaction, promoting scientific cooperation between countries, and enhancing knowledge-based dialogue channels.
