The 8th International Multidisciplinary Child Studies Congress, organized in collaboration with the Institute of Economic Development and Social Research (IKSAD) and Beykent University, was successfully held in Istanbul on April 23–24, 2026.

Bringing together scholars from diverse disciplines, the congress hosted researchers from 12 countries. Contemporary issues related to child development, education, health, and social well-being were addressed through a multidimensional and scientific perspective. The presented papers contributed significantly to the development of child-centered policies and offered valuable insights to the academic literature.

Following the opening speeches delivered by Prof. Dr. Arzu AL, Member of the IKSAD Executive Board, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Celal GÜLŞEN, Congress President, Cengiz TOPDEMİR, Member of the IKSAD Scientific Committee and Co-Chair of the Congress, and Prof. Dr. Nail YILMAZ, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Beykent University, plaques of appreciation were presented by Prof. Dr. Arzu AL to distinguished academics for their valuable contributions to the congress.

This meaningful organization once again highlighted the importance of an interdisciplinary approach in the field of child studies. We extend our sincere gratitude to all contributing scholars and supporting institutions and wish that our congress will bring beneficial outcomes to the national and international academic community.
