IKSAD INSTITUTE NEW YORK VISITS

Representing the IKSAD Institute, a distinguished delegation composed of President Dr. Mustafa Latif EMEK, Board Member Ambassador Hasan YAVUZ, and Scientific Committee Members Prof. Dr. Sedat CERECİ, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ethem İlhan ŞAHİN, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serkan YORGANCILAR conducted a series of significant official visits in New York, United States, on March 18–19, 2026.

Within the scope of the visit program, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Mr. Ahmet YAZAL, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in New York. During the meeting, comprehensive consultations were held regarding the international scientific activities planned to be carried out in New York in the forthcoming period, potential academic collaborations, and joint projects within the framework of science diplomacy.

Following the Consulate visit, the delegation proceeded to the United Nations, where they held a number of meetings and engagements, conducting highly productive discussions aimed at enhancing international academic cooperation.

These visits represent a significant reflection of the IKSAD Institute’s vision to expand its global scientific engagement and to strengthen its international academic networks.
