İKSAD DELEGATION VISITS ZANZIBAR UNIVERSITY

As part of its Science Diplomacy Project, a delegation from the Institute of Economic Development and Social Researches (IKSAD) visited Zanzibar University and held an important cooperation meeting with the university administration.


The IKSAD delegation consisted of Dr. Mustafa Latif EMEK, President of IKSAD, Prof. Dr. Sedat CERECİ, Member of the IKSAD Editorial Board, and Samira ONTUNÇ, Director of International Relations. During the meeting, extensive discussions were held on academic cooperation, joint scientific events, publishing activities, and international research projects.


Representing Zanzibar University, the meeting was attended by Dr. Rashid J. Rashid, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance, Dr. Mamudu Daffay, Deputy Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Abdalla Mpawenimana, Coordinator of Postgraduate Studies.

The discussions focused on potential collaboration in scientific research projects, academic publishing, student and faculty mobility, and science diplomacy initiatives. Both institutions exchanged views on strengthening international academic engagement and developing future joint projects.


The meeting concluded with the exchange of gifts and a commemorative photo session. It was regarded as an important step toward strengthening relations between the two institutions and expanding future collaborative initiatives.


Through its Science Diplomacy Project, IKSAD continues to foster international academic cooperation and promote global scientific engagement.
