In their opening remarks, Georgian American University Rector Michael Cowgill and the President of IKSAD Institute emphasized the importance of strengthening scientific interaction between the two institutions, developing joint research projects, and expanding academic mobility programs. Both speakers highlighted that increasing international academic cooperation, science diplomacy initiatives, and joint publication activities will create substantial value both regionally and globally.
Following the speeches, the protocol was officially signed and the cooperation was formally launched. The agreement covers a wide range of areas including joint research projects, co-organization of congresses – symposiums – workshops, academic exchange programs for faculty members and researchers, collaborative publications, and sharing of scientific data.
The ceremony concluded with a group photograph of the participating academics.
