Congress of Women in Science
"Interdisciplinary Congress of Women Academics" organized by İksad Institute, Association of Women in Science (BİLKADER) and Sivas Cumhuriyet University, was held in Sivas on 13-14 January 2023 with the participation of scientists and researchers from 30 countries.
The congress started with the welcome speeches of Sivas Cumhuriyet University Vice Rector Hakan YEKBAŞ, Prof. Dr. Birnur AKKAYA and Dr. Kaldygul ADİLBEKOVA; continued two days with panels and scientific presentations

We are happy to share the biggest example of scientific cooperation in history between Global South countries, this time between Mexico and Turkey, which also have attracted scientists from more than 40 different countries with different sections on social, applied and economic sciences.
The main objective is to encourage scientists to work together to propose a radical new approach to revitalise science in the South continent, in developing countries.

Science Georgia, the center for promoting scientific development of Georgian society, established by İKSAD and the association of universities of the Democratic Republic of Georgia celebrating 100th anniversary of Georgian Technical University.
The GTU's centennial was amplifying the accomplishments and stories of the past 100 years to build support for the future discoveries and solutions.

İKSAD Delegation to visit Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia - UNAD Colombia (Bogotá, Kolombiya)'
Recently İKSAD members have visited the country and the directorship of Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia, with 60 campuses in Colombia and 2 in USA. Agreements on international project and research collaboration signed during the visit. The delegation also discussed the possibilities to open the university's offices in Turkey and other parts of Middle East and Asia..

2nd INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS was held by IKSAD with the support of Azerbaijan Kooperasia University. In the face-to-face opening and commemoration program and in the online panels that continued afterwards, the modern Azerbaijan state and its founding leader Heydar Aliyev-themed studies were discussed and a moment of silence was held after the wreath was laid on Haydar Aliyev's mausoleum.

Türkiye'deki yaşlı nüfusun yaşam kalitesini artırmaya yönelik disiplinlerarası yaklaşım sergileyen ve iyi niyetle yola çıkan dinamik bir ekiple tanışma, fikir alışverişinde bulunma ve geleceğe dair yön çizme fırsatını bulduk. Sivas Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi'ne bağlı olarak kurulan Gerontoloji Merkezi ekibiyle yeni ve topluma yararlı projeler gerçekleştirmeyi umuyoruz. Toplantıya iştirak eden tüm Gerontoloji Merkezi üyeleri değerli hocalarına teşekkürlerimizi sunarız.
