İKSAD DELEGATION VISITS THE YUNUS EMRE INSTITUTE ZANZIBAR COORDINATION OFFICE

As part of the Science Diplomacy Project carried out by the IKSAD Institute, the IKSAD delegation in Tanzania paid a visit to the Zanzibar Coordination Office of the Yunus Emre Institute, one of Türkiye’s leading cultural and educational institutions.


During the visit, the delegation met with Mr. İbrahim Kubilay ŞİMŞEK, Coordinator of the Yunus Emre Institute in Zanzibar, and received information about the institute’s activities in the region. Mr. ŞİMŞEK stated that since the establishment of the institute’s operations in Zanzibar, thousands of students have received Turkish language education and that numerous cultural and academic events have contributed significantly to promoting Türkiye.


IKSAD President Dr. Mustafa Latif EMEK emphasized the importance of the Yunus Emre Institute’s mission in promoting the Turkish language, culture, and civilization abroad and expressed his appreciation to Mr. ŞİMŞEK for the institute’s successful activities in Zanzibar.


The meeting also included discussions on potential joint projects in the fields of education, culture, and academic cooperation between Türkiye and Tanzania. Both parties exchanged views on strengthening academic and cultural relations between the two countries.


Through its Science Diplomacy Project, the IKSAD Institute continues its efforts to enhance international academic and cultural cooperation and to build stronger global partnerships.
