VISIT OF İKSAD INSTITUTE DELEGATION TO BATUMI SHOTA RUSTAVELİ STATE UNIVERSITY

Continuing its science diplomacy initiatives in Georgia, the delegation of the IKSAD Institute visited Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University on 27 October 2025. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Tamar Siradze, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Giorgi Kamatze, and the Head of the International Relations Office.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities to strengthen academic cooperation, enhance faculty mobility, and develop joint projects within the framework of internationalization. Following the discussions held in a cordial atmosphere, mutual gifts were exchanged. The IKSAD Institute presented the Shota Rustaveli book published in 2018 to the University administration, while the University offered a special souvenir dedicated to Shota Rustaveli.

The delegation consisted of Dr. Mustafa Latif EMEK, President of the IKSAD Institute, Dr. Atabek MOVLYANOV, General Coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ethem İlhan ŞAHİN, Member of the Editorial Board, Samira ONTUNÇ, Director of International Relations, and Samet KUŞKIRAN, Field Coordinator.
