MIDDLE EAST CONTEMPORARY STUDIES CONFERENCE UNDER THE PATRONAGE OF THE LEBANESE MINISTER OF YOUTH AND SPORTS

The Institute for Economic and Social Development Sciences in Turkey (IKSAD) hosted its ninth edition of the Middle East Conference on Contemporary Studies, titled "Artificial Intelligence in Education, Innovative Teaching, and Improving Outcomes." The conference was organized by the Islamic University in Lebanon, under the patronage of Lebanese Minister of Youth and Sports, George Klass, in partnership with the Digital Transformation and Governance Network in Lebanon, the Lebanese Association of Innovators, and the Technology Education Syndicate.

The conference was chaired by Dr. Hassan al-Lakis, President of the Islamic University in Lebanon. Attendees included representatives from various organizations and academic fields, such as the Lebanon State Directorate General of Sports and Youth Facilities, the General Directorate of General Security, and several academics, administrators, and students.

Keynote speakers highlighted the importance of universities in adapting their curricula to incorporate artificial intelligence and fostering innovation and creativity among students. They emphasized the need for collaboration between universities, public and private institutions, and the importance of transforming research into applicable products and services.

The conference featured presentations from around 88 researchers from Turkey and European countries, with a booklet containing these research papers set to be published soon. The event concluded with group photos taken to commemorate the occasion.
